Congratulations Winners!

Brandon C – SIP
Nominated by: Ms. Potts
Reasons: Brandon has shown kindness to others in the class. He is flexible and cooperative. He comes to class on time prepared to work and sets a good example by being helpful and demonstrating proper behaviour.

Jacob A - Elementary
Nominating by: Janis Campbell
Reasons: I often see Jacob supporting another student in transitioning from one class to another. He gently presents his elbow to her and off they go.

Kareka M - Secondary
Nominated by: Patti Ferras
Reasons: Kareka has displayed many characteristics this month, assisting the 2 new students living in Mac House this year, with routines, rules, and expectations of the program. She has been constructive and honest with her assistance which at times can be frustrating for her. Kareka has shown personal growth and maturity, with the way she handles situations and it would be nice to recognize her for it.

Andreina R – Deafblind
Nominated by: Gillian Andrews, Amanda Filler, Kathy Vincer
Reasons: Andreina is a wonderful young deaf/blind lady who came from Venezuela. She has displayed many of the WRMS attributes this past year. Her transition to WRMS initially was a difficult one, but through much perseverance and self –discipline she has proven to be a strong individual. Andreina is very helpful, when she walks to the Dining Hall to get the lunches for all of her classmates. She is a great team player, preparing lunches for her peers and staff. Andreina does the kitchen laundry daily with no complaints. She is very affectionate, always full of hugs smiles and a joy to have in the classroom.
