Silver Cup Report

W Ross McDonald School held the 41st annual silver cup on October the 6 for everyone to enjoy as an accessible football game. It is both a school tradition and gives everyone including the staff and teachers a chance to do something active with each other. While they play only one game, they have practices two or three times a week. The two teams were the Bills named after the NFL's Buffalo bills, and the Argos who were named after the CFL's Toronto Argonauts. The coaches for the Bills were Mr. Swerdfiger and Mr. Russell, who are some of the most active coaches around, and for the Argos it was Mr. Breuls, and Mrs. Ottewell. It was a blowout for the Argos, with the Argos winning 10 to 0. The game was followed by a barbecue full of former staff and students. Everyone was happy with all the fun, and so it happens that it was a sunny day and everyone enjoyed it.
