From The Wish Closet Newsletter June 2013:
On Wednesday May 29th, 15 students and 5 staff members from W. Ross McDonald School arrived with a busload of donations to join the Wish Closet Team in an effort to support our community in a meaningful way. Rastik Kolesar contacted Betty Finley to discuss the opportunity of having the recycling team gather donations to help those in need. This was a wonderful learning opportunity for the students as well as the Volunteer Team at the Wish Closet. The students were amazed at all the various areas and ways in which donations from the community can help so many others.

The Students toured the various areas of the Wish Closet, asked numerous questions with respect to how the process works, where donations are kept, do we help only in our community or on an international level.
