The Grade 9 students of W. Ross Macdonald School, in collaboration with the Free the Children organization, are taking action to raise social awareness around the issue of children who suffer from poverty and hunger in our home community of Brantford.
Last year our school met our goal of collecting 600 items of non-perishable food. This year, our goal is to collect 1000 items of non-perishable food to donate to the Brantford Food Bank by November 1st 2011.
