Shane always encourages the other students and praises them for a good job done. He is kind and empathetic towards others. He has done extremely well this year in improving his behaviour throught self-discipline and taking respnsibility for his actions.
Haley S - Elementary

Reasons for nomination:
Haley is helpful in the class. She will take notes to Mrs. McNicol for her teacher, help other students with schoolwork, and model positive learning skills and work habits.
Stephen H - Secondary
Nominated by: Mr. Rollings
Reasons for nomination:
On Friday January 13 2012 Stephen saw me do some shovelling of snow and asked; "would you like me to this for you" with out being told too. This action helped the staff and students get to their buses safely and it freed me up to do my job.
Brittany M – Deafblind
Nominated by: Ms. Thompson
Reasons for nomination:
Brittany has been working very hard on her Orientation and Mobility skills. Within the Southview Residnece she independently located the kitchen area and found her chair.
