Jeri made up her mind after March break to be more cooperative in school and to take responsibility for doing her work and to be a participating member of a team.
Liam Langedock - Elementary

Reasons for nomination:
Liam saw that a fellow students shoelace had become untied. He helped tie the shoelace for the student on several occasions without anyone asking.
Palmer Douglas - Secondary

The above student displayed the following WRMS character traits:
Palmer has been very interactive in activities and social events both in the residence as well as the school. He has participated in cross country running, football as an assistant coach in the Silver Cup, goaltender in floor hockey, competitive goalball league player, assistant captain in soccer, water polo league member, recreational skating at the Gretzky centre, drama club, water basketball league, and represented Ontario at the Junior National tournament in April here at W. Ross. His perserverance in all of these sports is incredible as he does not let his developmental disabilities stop him from competing at the highest level. Palmer is also an active member of Student Council at our school. He attends meetings and has assisted with the set up for special dances. His participation in all of the above school activities has helped him develop skills in all of the above categories. His kindness, and respect, toward both students and staff is second to none. We feel very confident that Palmer would be a very deserving winner of this award.

Jordan continues to assist the S.V. nurses by alerting them when a peer needs their attention. He knocks on the door and waits for them to answer. when they do, Jordan signs "nurse", points to the student requiring their attention and signs the student's name.
