Lilly's Book Review
I am writing about books because I like them so much. I have recently finished a book called Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In the beginning, Harry is living with the Dursleys. He is getting in trouble for his owl, Hedwig, screeching and waking them up; this was the third time that week. Vernon Dursley tells Harry that if it happened again, the owl would have to go. Later, Harry is in his room, and Dobby, a house elf, is on Harry’s stool at the desk. Harry is talking to him on the bed next to the desk. I think Dobby is pretty funny. He keeps banging his head on things and yelling ‘bad Dobby!’ when he is in trouble. The book is called “The Chamber of Secrets” because Harry and Ron go into the chamber in the book. Ginny Weasley got to the chamber by a huge, dirty snake called a Basilisk. Gilderoy Lockhart goes with them and gets his memory modified. Ron is shifting the rock and trying to get a way for Harry to get out, while Harry goes into the chamber itself. Ginny Weasley, Ron’s sister, is lying on the floor and she is almost dead. Tom Riddle is standing with Harry’s wand, twirling it with his long fingers. Harry is telling Tom to give him his wand back. Tom is putting Harry’s wand in his pocket. He calls Basilisk and the snake goes at Harry. Dumbledore’s phoenix enters the chamber and Harry looks happy to see him. Fawkes blinds the Basilisk and Tom is furious. The snake follows Harry down a pipe and Harry throws a rock past the Basilisk and it goes another way. Harry goes back into the chamber and Ginny is a few minutes from being dead. By the time Harry kills the Basilisk and Tom, Ginny is alive. There’s more but I’m out of time. So it is done.

Daytona 500 2012 Highlights by Karson
Two cars aren’t better than one at the end of the Daytona 500. They tried for 2 laps but couldn’t catch up to the winner Matt Kenseth.
“I couldn’t believe me and Greg Biffle (16) couldn’t catch up to Kenseth (17)” says Dale Earnhardt (88).

“I tried throughout the race to pass Kenseth by coming around them. But every time he would just pull out too,” said Biffle.

“We thought, if we pushed the gas to the floor, we could team up and beat him, but he was too fast for the both of us.” Said Earnhardt

Montoya and safety truck collide after failure.
Under a caution Juan Pablo Montoya crashes on turn 3, when Montoya’s car lost control and the safety truck exploded and spilled laundry detergent all down the side of the track. Montoya was driving down the track veered to the right and it slammed into the safety truck. Montoya had nothing to do with the breaking down of the car and he said “I’ve hit a lot of things --- but a jet dryer?” “I also felt a vibration before the crash”. Some of you might be confused why Montoya was driving under a caution. Well. He was behind a little bit cause he had to get gas and tires, so he was driving then to catch up to the rest of them

Matt’s win
It was a big win for Matt as the second Daytona win in four years. There were many problems for Kenseth during the race such as, an engine leak, and radio signals.

It will be remembered as one of the best Daytona 500s in NASCAR history.
